Q. Do the birds become accustomed to the sounds?
A. Unlike harassment tactics such as propane cannons, pyrotechnic devices and visual deterrents that attempt to annoy birds into leaving, BirdGard products harness the bird's natural fear and survival instincts to repel them. A microprocessor randomly emits distress sounds in a completely unpredictable pattern and at random time intervals and random frequency levels. Sounds are cycled through randomly selected speakers (where applicable) to give the impression of multiple birds being under attack throughout the protected area. This keeps birds highly agitated and the constant randomization of the sequence of sounds prevents them from acclimating to the sounds.

Q. What bird species are repelled by BirdGard products?
A. We have a growing library of more than 100 recorded bird distress sounds. Once the nuisance birds are identified we will recommend the best sound card for your specific problem birds. Depending on your needs, your sound card may include distress calls, predator sounds and electronic harassment sounds

Q. What if I do not know the species of birds that is causing problems?
A. Because BirdGard utilizes each bird's intra-species communications to drive them away, it is imperative that your nuisance birds are correctly identified. There are a number of websites and resources available to properly identify bird species. One of the best we have found is maintained by the Cornell University Lab of Ornithology. Q. Are the sounds output through the unit audible?
A. Yes. Sonic means sounds that are audible to the human ear. Ultrasonics is sounds which are outside the hearing range of the human ear (Please see below a comparative chart for various species). BirdGard products incorporate actual bird distress cries that are digitally recorded on a microchip. To us, the distress cries sound like birds chirping; to the birds, it sounds like an attack of epic proportions. Most people get used to the sounds relatively quickly. Each product is equipped with a volume control so the sound can be adjusted for maximum effectiveness and a minimum of annoyance to humans.

Q. How long until I see results?
A. The length of time may vary, but typically the birds will leave the area within a few weeks. In most cases, you will see results very quickly with the reduction of the menace. We are unable to provide a very accurate scenario as it is interdependent on environment and nature and the menace in question.

Q. Will the sounds affect domestic animals or livestock?
A. No animals are harmed by BirdGard sounds. Domestic animals and livestock quickly get used to the sounds and are not negatively impacted.

Q. How long will it take for BirdGard devices to be implemented?
A The Equipment will it take about 3 or 4 weeks to be delivered, keeping the shipping from Australia and the customs clearance time in view and another 5 to 7 working days for the implementation process depending on the number and type of devices required to be set up.

Q. Can we Have demonstration of the Equipment before we buy?
A. It is not possible and a viable option as the demonstration will depend on various factors such as nature and existing environmental conditions. Warranty and Guarantee Periods

BirdGard India Private Limited (the warrantor) will repair or replace this product with new or refurbished parts, free of charge, from the date of the original purchase in the event of a defect in materials or workmanship, as follows:
Materials:
One (01) year from the date of original purchase.
Labor: Six (06) months from the date of the original purchase.

This warranty is extended only to the original purchaser. A purchase receipt or other proof of date of original purchase will be required before warranty service is rendered.
This warranty only covers failures due to defects in materials or workmanship, which occur during normal use as described in the Operator’s Manual.
The equipment should be treated as such, with care and proper handling. Please refer to the Operator’s Manual for proper handling instructions.
The warranty does not cover damage which occurs in shipment or failures which are caused by products that are not supplied by the warrantor or failures which result from accident, misuse, abuse, neglect, mishandling, alteration, maladjustment of consumer controls, modification, rental use of the product, or service by anyone other than a BirdGard India Private Ltd, service person. Opening any portions of the BirdGard unit TM will result in the voiding of this warranty.
For warranty service, contact us at BirdGard India Private Ltd for a RETURN AUTHORIZATION NUMBER, then send the BirdGard equipment in its original shipping container, postage paid, with a copy of the purchase receipt to the address given.
All express and implied warranties, including warranties of the merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited to the applicable warranty period set forth above.
This warranty covers all the electronic equipment mentioned in the proposal. Eagle kites have a warranty period of 06 months only.

Post Warranty Period.

Option of availing an Annual Maintenance Contract, the details of which will be discussed on completion of implementation of products.
We normally will replace speakers free of cost after inspection and assessment by the manufacturer, in the meanwhile an interim piece of equipment will be issued for use, and other parts will be replaced at cost.

It is important to note that this equipment will be trouble free and should not have any technical problem in a minimum period of 5 to 7 years of service.
